ETIQUETTE ON THE STAIRS
FANTA’S BUILDING AT THE MAIN STATION
Wilson Street, Prague, main entrance
Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 6:00 PM
We cordially invite you to a unique gala evening that will combine the beautifully renovated halls of the Fanta Building, a concert, exhibitions, refreshments and select company. The entire event is inspired by the place and historical events associated with the atmosphere of the station. This year we are celebrating 390 years since the creation of the men’s accessory, the tie, which made its way from Croatia to France, hence the name Etiquette on the Trains.
At 6:00 PM, the imaginary gates of the Fanta Building itself will open to you. We have prepared very interesting exhibitions for you: collections from the Blažek Tailor Shop, jewelry from the family goldsmith’s studio SALABA, designer glass and historical porcelain from the Czech Art Point organization, French cosmetics from GERnétic, blacksmithing art from Hefaistos, designer gold and silver from BHS and BHS Receivables Company, or STRAIL railway systems from VITESSE.
The program itself in the main hall will start at 7:30 PM and will offer a combination of spoken word and music. Etiquette Master Ladislav Špaček will talk about history, dress code, and life experiences, and soprano Markéta Fassati, harpsichordist Jiřina Marešová, and vibraphonist Antonín Procházka will provide music.
Throughout the evening, the Food Bank for Prague and the Central Bohemian Region will traditionally provide a gourmet experience. The world of wine from Vinselekt Michlovský will be introduced to us by the owner Lenka Michlovská and this time we will also taste gin rum from the Czech reborn Franz Kafka distillery from 1870. Excellent coffee will once again be prepared by Dallmayr Kaffee.
The gala evening is under auspices by: General Director of the Railway Administration Jiří Svoboda and Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia H. E. Ljijana Pancirov.
